"A Night for Ned"

A Night for Ned, a benefit for Ned Wood and his family. This is a non-profit organization in support of Ned Wood who was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The objective is to raise funds for Ned's increasing medical expenses. Many of us who grew up in Buffalo may know, or recognize Ned Wood, he is a founding member and one of the driving creative talents from the bands: WEEKEND, THE BBC BAND, BEATLEMAJIC, 33 WEST, & SHINER. He was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2000. Large Crowd at Taste of Williamsville

More than a dozen restaurants offered up several items at the annual Taste of Williamsville in Island Park on Sunday.

Organizers moved the event to a weekend after hearing several requests from residents.

Food Tents were also removed from the shelter in order to give people more space to sit and eat.
