Emerging Business Leaders to Hold Coffee Connections on September 10th

The Emerging Business Leaders get back to business in September with the fall kick-off of the monthly Coffee Connections networking event, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Young professionals are invited to join the conversation being held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Salvatore’s Garden Place Hotel, located at 6615 Transit Road in Williamsville. Salvatore’s Garden Place Hotel will be generously providing attendees with a complimentary continental breakfast and coffee.

For September, Michael Mule’, CEO of Designated Drivers of Buffalo, will join Emerging Business Leaders to present Protecting your Company and Employees by Providing Drinking and Driving Awareness and Solutions. This presentation will consist of a realistic take on alcohol’s prevalence in Corporate America and how it affects companies, employees and our local community. Young professionals will gain insight on how to handle social and business situations where drinking is involved, therefore eliminating the possibility of a DWI or other alcohol related accidents. This will provide young professionals with the tools needed to maintain and protect their company, employees or careers.

Michael Mule’ is the co-founder and CEO of Designated Drivers of Buffalo, a local drinking and driving prevention company. Designated Drivers of Buffalo opened operations in 2008 and provides its services to individuals, corporations and at special events. Michael Mule’ has 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and more recently completed the University of Buffalo’s 2013 Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership program.

Coffee Connections is a series of meet-ups for motivated, social, young business leaders who want to make connections in a casual setting that promotes discussion beyond simple introductions and small talk. The first portion of Coffee Connections features open networking and an opportunity for everyone in the room to briefly talk about their profession. The second part of Coffee Connections focuses on the guest speaker presentation. These presentations include topics relevant to young professionals and are intended to provide knowledge to attendees that will further their personal and professional development.

There is no cost for members of Emerging Business Leaders to attend Coffee Connections. Non-members may attend their first Coffee Connections event as a guest of Emerging Business Leaders. After that, individuals must be a member to attend free events or to receive member prices for other events.
