The Chapel at Crosspoint Welcomes Jim & Jill Kelly at Sunday's Service

GETZVILLE, NY-- The Chapel at CrossPoint is hosting Hall of Fame quarterback, Jim Kelly and his wife, Jill, to share their story to finding hope when youngest son, Hunter, is diagnosed with Krabbe Disease on Sunday, September 19.

Jim and Jill Kelly will be speaking at both the 9 and 11AM services and will also introduce their newly released book, "Without a Word". The Chapel will be selling copies of their book followed by a book signing at the conclusion of both services.

As The Kelly's battled alongside Hunter for eight years, they faced devastation, frustration and fear. In their experience, Jim and Jill Kelly looked to God as their source of strength and hope. They will be sharing with the congregation their story of how their hope for Hunter's health and for the future of their family was renewed through God.

Services are held at 9 AM and 11 AM at the CrossPoint campus.

Sudan Lost Boys Aid Africa

BUFFALO - Helping children half a world away is the focus of an organization that is celebrating the generosity of Western New Yorkers.

A group called "Aid and Care for Africa" was founded by Dominic Diing, one of the so-called "Lost Boys of Sudan"-children who ran from their villages in Southern Sudan to escape military jihadists who were kidnapping young boys and training them for military duty.

Diing emigrated to the United States in 2001 and graduated from Niagara University.

For the past four years, he has raised money to build a school for orphans in his war-torn Sudanese village.

Rescue Mission Needs Your Help

The above is a video of Gloria. Gloria was rescued by Farm Sanctuary, and was a victim of severe neglect. For the first 8 years of her life she lived at a racetrack to calm the horses. She was tied to a wall, with no room to walk, roam, or really move at all, and she had no contact with any animals, other than being able to see them move about, as she remained tied. Gloria didn't know how to be a goat, she had never been allowed to prior to coming home to Farm Sanctuary, and as you can see, she can certainly play now!
