Rheumatology Center Opens in Williamsville

When you’re in pain, you want it to stop as soon as possible. No one wants to wait months just to get an appointment with a physician. However, for the thousands of people in Western New York with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a four-month wait is common.

“When I was doing my fellowship in rheumatology at a Buffalo hospital, we tried to prioritize and fast-track the most serious cases as much as possible but, unfortunately, patients still had to wait up to four months for an appointment,” said Sunita Chadha, MD, now a board-certified rheumatologist. “There’s a worsening shortage of physicians in Western New York and that’s one of the main reasons I chose to stay local to open my own practice.”

Cintas Announces Partnership with Carhartt

Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq:CTAS), North America’s largest uniform supplier, has partnered with Carhartt, a global manufacturer of premium workwear, to offer a line of Carhartt garments designed specifically for a uniform rental program.

According to a statement released by Carhartt, a uniform program is one of the best and easiest business building decisions that a company can make. With Carhartt Rental Workwear from Cintas, companies can increase their employee morale by giving their workers the clothes they want to wear every day with the convenience of a laundry service.

“The strength of our company is our employees, so to dress them well makes us feel like we’re supporting them well,” says Mark Barkosky, a manager at Buckingham Coal, who is also in the Cintas rental program and appreciates the Carhartt quality firsthand.  “It looks real good, it feels real good, it’s real practical.  And believe me, we put it to the test.”
